Auditions

First of all, I have never read this book. Hopefully, my lack of reading won't matter. Since there's low census at the Hotel, I figured I'd look for a gig I can do in my spare time, like writing or teaching (things I've really enjoyed).

Well, lo and behold, I found a company who was interested. I've been on many, many interviews (no idea how many, so it must be that creeping senility) but never an audition.

There's always a first time.  I prepped as well as I could, since I had advance instructions on what they wanted me to do.

Hopefully, I was successful. More to come...

Ah, Sunday!

The window on my week. The beginning, even if I'm not yet at work. If Sunday goes well, there is hope for the rest of the week.

And for a little light relief, I head on over to Sunday Stealing, to see what Sunday excitement they have.

So close...

I'm so close to being out the door for the weekend that I can taste it. My travelling partner will be getting ready a day ahead of me, so I am jealous! Will have to run errands and act crazy packing things up for the household right before I head to the airport.

Nevertheless, it's a lot of work, but I'm glad to be getting out on the road again. Creating and presenting material at conferences is fun!
